  1. What is SMS?
    SMS or Short Message Service lets cell phones send and receive text messages up to 160 characters long.

  2. Does my phone support SMS?
    Most cell phone services in the US support SMS. Consult with your service provider or use SMS Test.

  3. Is there a fee for SMS?
    SMS Everywhere does not charge for sending messages. Most carriers do not charge for receiving messages. Consult with the cell phone carrier because the fee for receiving messages usually depends on the carrier and the monthly plan.

Sending Messages
  1. How long does it take to reach the recipient?
    Usually it takes less than a minute. However, sometimes it could take up to an hour for a message to reach its recipient.

  2. How come the recipient does not receive my messages?
    Make sure the phone supports SMS. If your service provider is not supported or you don't receive messages, fill out the SMS Request Form.

  3. Is it possible to identify the sender?
    In case there is abuse of the service, information about the sender would be passed to the proper authorities and serious charges would be pressed.
    You can have your cell phone number blocked and check who sent messages to your phone via free/test service.
